I own content operations for a major client across 12 content IPs, coordinating a 22-member editing team through 4 leads and overseeing 60+ videos every month. My work sits between strategy, production, people, client and performance — from resource planning and briefing through editing, quality control, packaging and delivery. I use YouTube Analytics (CTR, AVD, impressions, traffic sources) to decide what to repeat, what to change and what to stop.
Shikhar Singh
I build and scale content systems that bring together people, process, creative and performance. From managing 12 content IPs and a 22-member editing team to building content networks reaching 20M+ monthly Instagram views, I work at the intersection of content, operations and strategy. Based in Bengaluru.
I understand content from both sides.
I started as a video editor, then built and ran my own content business before moving into content operations and account management at YAAS. Because I started as an editor, I understand the creative process at ground level. Because I ran my own business, I understand clients and commercial realities. And because I now operate large content teams, I understand what it takes to make content work at scale — managing people, process, creative direction, distribution and feedback loops together, with a particular focus on YouTube and scalable content operations.
Content systems built and scaled
Strategy, production, people and performance — brought together across YouTube and Instagram content operations at YAAS and beyond.
Podverse started with 1 IP and 1 editor. I helped build the system that scaled it to 15 IPs and 10–15 editors — expanding from podcast clipping into food, health, news and podcasts. At peak, the network produced 400 clips a month across 15 Instagram pages, reaching 20M+ monthly views. The real challenge wasn't producing more clips — it was increasing output without losing quality, through resource planning, editor allocation and training, weekly expectation setting, QC and performance tracking.
Managing shoots and edit teams for a ₹1,000 crore fund backing founders in health, fintech, and climate. Overseeing production of finance podcasts and editing sustainability documentaries. The fund's YouTube channel currently sits at 25K subscribers, with content spanning long-form conversations with founders and climate-focused storytelling.
My very first professional content project — editing videos and writing scripts for a finance-focused brand during its explosive early growth. The scripts I wrote crossed 5 million views per video. The channel hit 100K followers within 3 months of launch, providing foundational experience in high-velocity content production and understanding what makes finance content go viral.
Started my own content services business in 2020, initially offering web design, social media management, content writing and social media graphics. From 2022, moved deeper into content repurposing and video clipping, serving USA-based clients remotely from India. At peak: 100+ clients served and 10 active retainers, with 1,500 clips managed in a single year. Clients came through cold outreach, Fiverr and word of mouth, while I managed freelance editors and high-volume production.
